Do it yourself Monochrome
Being a student working in London, funds are never on great form. I have therefore started to think of ways to satisfy my fashion needs without spending a fortune. Especially since I have just dragged out my old retro sewing machine which I am loving using again.
An example of something I have made recently which fits in so well with the monochrome trend and is also super comfy which is becoming more and more important to me, is a black and white t-shirt.
This particular t-shirt started off as two mens t-shirts from Primark (only £2.50 each...what a steal).
I cut both the black and the white one right down the middle.
I then pinned them together to make a new colour block t-shirt.
I sewed along the pin seams and et voilà...two monochrome patchwork t-shirts for only £5.
